It's a girl!
Got her leg over her head, stretching to get warmed up for karate. Her daddy is so excited!!For some reason, I stopped writing anything on this blog, not sure why...I guess just laziness. Anyway, here is what all has gone on since November 20.
We had had our 11 week appt in December. Everything was good. My nausea finally went away around 13 weeks and since then I've been eatin' good. =) Gravy biscuits have been my staple for breakfast for the last 14 weeks. My friends at Hardees love me. I really haven't had any cravings. Reese cups and chocolate milk are a normal day craving so I don't count that as a "pregnancy craving".
Our next appt was suppose to be the 2o week appt on March 2nd where we were going to find out the sex and have a full body ultrasound. We got a little impatient and on Valentine's Day, I surprised Scott with a ultrasound at Baby Impressions in Greenville to find out that we are having a girl. We weren't going to tell anyone until we had our March 2nd ultra sound but then my mom found out about a consignment sale so I told my parents that night so mom & I could shop. And boy did we, haha.
We had our 20 week ultrasound today. Everything looked good. The ultrasound lasted an hour and they looked at everything. They looked at all the chambers of the heart and the blood flow, measured all the bones including the legs and arms, looked at the skull & brain....everything!
But she's still a girl so that was good news, especially for all the stuff we've bought. =)
We have decided to paint the baby's room brown. I still haven't decided on bedding or what I want to do in the room yet. Scott wanted to paint the room pink but I'm sure we're going to be seeing plenty of pink so I finally got him to ok brown. We also bought our furniture. It's ready for us to pick up, we're just waiting on the room to be painted (which should be this week).
I go to my ob on Thursday so I guess I'll find out then what all comes next. I was suppose to go today but because of the snow they were closing early so they asked me to reschedule. (Have I mentioned that I'm tired of this weather???) Until next time....
